South Carolina 2016 HDR Team

Our 2016 South Carolina Humanist Disaster Recovery Team was the first deployment of the HDR Teams program. They worked in Columbia South Carolina rebuilding homes with our partner, St. Bernard Project, after flooding caused by Hurricane Joaquin in late 2015. The team trained, demolished the interior of a home, performed mold remediation, hung drywall, mudded, sanded, and primed homes in the area.
