Avi Chapman, President
Avi Chapman a Software Engineering contractor. He was born in Houston, raised on a tropical island in Micronesia and now lives in Adelaide with his wife May and his twin sons. He holds a degree in Computer Science and is a member of the Australian Computer Society.
Peter Harris, Treasurer
Peter is Melbourne born and based. He has traveled and lived abroad for work and play over the years (Middle-East / Asia / Pacific) which helped turn him from a Christian to a Jew to a Hindu to a Buddhist to a Spiritualist to an Atheist. He is a general helper / agitator with worldy issues when not busy being fascinated by and playing with his two young girls. CPEng (Chartered Professional Engineer), bachelors of engineering and business. Works in road design / traffic engineering / road safety.
Shelley Segal
Shelley is a singer-song writer whose first release, 'An Atheist Album' has taken her all over the world to perform and share her ideas on secularism and on her religious (Jewish) upbringing. Shelley has worked with US support group 'Recovering From Religion' and UK equal rights organisation 'One Law For All.' She regularly performs for elderly communities and for sick children and their families through the Sweet Princess Charitable Trust. Having seen the grass-roots work of secular activists in many different places, Shelley is proud to be involved with Foundation Beyond Belief Australia and to help foster the energies of secular people here in Australia.
