My mother had grace, compassion, and unending love for myself and her grandson. She was a beautiful, caring individual who lived with cancer for a year WITHOUT diagnosis. She managed and treated her pain ON HER OWN because she had no health insurance and struggled financially. NO ONE should have to do that. She died alone. I live in another state, and was on my way to see her when I got the call that she had passed away in her sleep. I knew I was on my way to say goodbye, but I didn’t have the chance.
If she was here, she would be walking with me. She put everyone before herself. I miss her every day, and I don’t know of a better way to honor her memory than to participate in this effort.
Please donate what you can. Help this effort, help save lives, and help me to honor my mother, Christopher Hitchens, and all the others we’ve lost.
We still have a month of matching courtesy of the Stiefel family. You can donate to Tiffany’s LTN page here or find out more about our FBB LTN team here.
