What we take for granted

By

There are very few toys in Bimbilla where the Humanist Action: Ghana volunteers live, but the children are very creative when it comes to creating their own. They salvage things from the trash and build cars and trucks. They use bottle caps for wheels. This one even has a functioning dump bed. HA: Ghana volunteer Warren saw a child the other day who had built a kite from a trash bag and sticks. It flew so high! The children are always proud to display their creations for pictures. And they should be proud – their inventions are just great, and the children deserve a lot of credit for being so resourceful.
