July Winners! Beyond Belief Network Team of the Month & Photo of the Month

July’s Beyond Belief Network Team of the Month, Central Ohio United Non-Theists (COUNT) held an impressive seven events in just one month! COUNT volunteers trained with adaptive kayak equipment to participate in Adaptive Sports Connection (ASC) kayaking. ASC volunteers help adjust kayaks, provide basic paddling instruction, and accompany paddlers with various paddling capabilities. In other months, COUNT volunteers participated in similar skiing, cycling, and sailing events with ASC. COUNT’s July recurring events also included their Bleed-N-Feed blood drive and events supporting people experiencing homelessness. Keep up the great work COUNT! 

The Picture of the Month comes from Polk County, FL where team Atheist Community of Polk County held a collection for HEARTH Project that support students experiencing homelessness and housing instability.  Based on HEARTH suggestions, they included several crock pots since long-term hotels have started charging extra for microwaves. Atheist Community of Polk County raised $770 for HEARTH. Great result!
