Foundation Beyond Belief (FBB) is a 501(c)(3) organization that seeks to focus, encourage, and demonstrate generosity and compassion in the nonreligious community through programs in charitable giving and volunteering. Foundation Beyond Belief (FBB) has recently undergone a critical change: transitioning from a virtual organization to an office space where staff work together in person several times per week. The Summer Intern will work 2-3 days a week (~6 hrs per day) in this office and will work the rest of their hours at the location of their choice. Work hours/days are somewhat flexible, and a computer will be provided if the person needs one. The Summer Intern will perform administrative tasks under the direction of the administrative assistant and programs director.
Scanning paper files and naming them properly
Organizing online documents in Google Drive
Renaming and organizing online photos
Downloading and saving picture files to Google Drive
Donor data management in Civi database
Organizing and managing in-office tabling supplies and other inventory
Other tasks as assigned
Computer knowledge and ability to learn new software/systems
Ability to learn office management systems and procedures
Works well independenty and with a team
Familiarity with humanism and the humanist movement
High school diploma or equivalent
Good organizational, planning, and customer service skills
Ability to learn new tasks quickly and ask questions if needed
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task, prioritize work
Regulary takes initiative in order to improve work efficiency
Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills

All volunteer positions are virtual. The hours are flexible and most meetings can be scheduled on a flexible basis. It is helpful be available to meet and work with others during Central Time (US).
Programs Assistant: Assist with operations of several of FBB's programs. Various administrative tasks as needed, including organizing & updating important documents & procedures, scheduling meetings, taking meeting notes and assigning tasks, providing input about program operations, and more. Estimated time needed is 3-5 hours/week.
