Foundation Beyond Belief (FBB) is a 501(c)(3) organization that seeks to focus, encourage, and demonstrate generosity and compassion in the nonreligious community through programs in charitable giving and volunteering. Our mission is to unite the humanist community in charitable and volunteer efforts, and to advocate for compassionate action throughout the world.

All volunteer positions are virtual. The hours are flexible and most meetings can be scheduled on a flexible basis. It is helpful be available to meet and work with others during Central Time (US).
Bookkeeper: This person will work with the Executive Director, Development Director, and accounting firm to ensure Foundation Beyond Belief’s finances are accurate and up to date. The bookkeeper will classify transactions and create journal entries to properly categorize funds in Quickbooks Online. The bookkeeper may also be asked to pull reports from Quickbooks. This position is expected to take about 5-10 hours per month and is a virtual role with flexible hours.
Requirements: Strong finance or bookkeeping background, attention to detail is critical. Experience in Quickbooks or other accounting software required. Must be able to provide stellar references and possibly pass a background check.
Programs Assistant: Assist with operations of several of FBB's programs. Various administrative tasks as needed, including organizing & updating important documents & procedures, scheduling meetings, taking meeting notes and assigning tasks, providing input about program operations, and more. Estimated time needed is 5-10 hours/week.
