Our Humanist Action Ghana program (soon to become a Ghanaian NGO) just presented certificates to graduates in its vocational training program! This anti-poverty program trains young people near the town of Cape Coast the trade of sewing and gives them resources to start their own business. 10 trainees have trained under 4 professional tailors for the past 18 months. None of them had any experience sewing when they began. Now look how far they’ve come and see their designs for final exams in the gallery below!
With your support, the new Humanist Action Ghana NGO can train 25 more young women in the Northern Region, home to the country’s camps for alleged witches. Chip in here to fund their startup costs today.
