Hours Donated This Year

Our mission is to serve, partner and engage the community to make the best use of food surplus to improve food equity and the health of people and the planet.

Through grassroots collaboration we are creating more efficient management of food resources while  1. improving access to healthy food options and 2. redirecting food surplus away from the landfill and into the hands of those who will consume it.

Sustainability –  Shift surplus food from a net negative impact on the environment to a positive effect on the health and lives of everyone.

Investment- In an equitable food system by working together with our community to ensure that nutritious food is consumed.

Community – Provide opportunities for the community to participate in health, education and nutrition security.

Partnership – Collaborate with established social service organizations to build an equitable local food system.

Equity – Support individual needs, dignity and access to food security for all.

Respect- The human and environmental capital inherent in food surplus and redistribute it equitably.
