Beyond Belief Network February Awards

We are happy to announce our February BBN Picture of the Month and Team of the Month winners. This month’s Picture of the Month winning photo is from Secular Humanists of the Lowcountry’s Adopt-a-Highway event at their designated stretch of South Carolina highway. In February, they collected 375 pounds of litter. What a difference you made Secular humanists of the Lowcountry!

February’s Team of the Month, Austin Humanists at Work, had another successful giveaway for people experiencing homelessness in February, even though their usual event routine was unexpectedly interrupted by the Austin Marathon route. With a lot of phone calls and social media communication they were able to find a location just one block away and open their giveaway line just 20 minutes later than usual! In addition to many basic living items, they also able to give away several books and magazines thanks to their 2nd Annual Love to Read Book Drive. Great teamwork and quick thinking Austin Humanists at Work!
