Two months ago, we watched as Superstorm Sandy ascended the East Coast, tearing apart many Northeastern cities and communities unprepared for storms of that magnitude. Since then, we’ve raised more than $17,000 for the cause. Your donations helped military veterans use their experience in disaster relief to rebuild affected communities, as well as providing sanitary shelter and fighting cholera in Haiti. We’ll be wrapping up this Crisis Response on Saturday, December 1. The organizations we supported have already begun transitioning operations to other groups for long-term rehabilitation, such as New York Cares.
